Designed By Humans
Designed By Humans is a site that's very similar to the design, vote and purchase model of threadless. After browsing some of their designs, it seems the focus is a little less on the humor angle and a little more on the design end. A nice place to browse some great designs and at the very least, a place to submit your work if threadless keeps rejecting you.
Together at last
If you're anything like me, you've been asking yourself, "when are Radiohead and Too $hort finally going to collaborate on something?"
Well my friends, the answer is now.
On January 10th, Amplive of Zion I is going to release a free online-only remix album of In Rainbows titled Rainydayz Remixes. One of the contributers? Too $short. This just may be epic.
However, there's a bit of a catch. You need to forward any email from Radiohead's W.A.S.T.E. online store to amplive@onesevensevensix.com. It's fairly simple, but it might not be easy for everyone, especially considering that the In Rainbows download option ended on Dec. 10th. So you can't order it now and expect the remix album later.
Either way, you can get a preview by going to Amplive's myspace page here. Very nice so far.

The final whisper in 'Lost in Translation'
Someone out there decoded Bill Murray's cliffhanging whisper in Sopia Coppola's Lost in Translation. Chances are, whatever you imagined he said outweighs the actual message, but cool nonetheless.

The Deadly Syndrome

I'm really enjoying "The Ortolan" by The Deadly Syndrome. I don't know how I discovered them, but I'm glad I did. If you enjoy music in the realm of progressive indie rock (think Cold War Kids and Okkervil River) then this album might just be for you.
I heard one of their tracks "Eucalyptus" in a spot for Microsoft Zune. You can download it for free here. I think they are definitely a band worth checking out and keeping and eye on.
