In Rainbows

Radiohead is one of my favorite bands and like most fans, I'm very excited for the new album In Rainbows. It has been almost four years since Hail to the Thief was released and a lot has happened since. For one, they no longer have a record label, so they have complete control over how they distribute their music.

So now, instead of a typical internet download at $10/album (like iTunes) they are actually creating a download program where you name the price you want to pay for the album. If you want to, you can pay absolutely nothing and you will still get the link to download it on October 10th. I just registered my "pre-order" download on this website but will probably buy the discbox (the album w/ a bonus CD and a hardcover book) when it's available.
